Gulf-coast downpours hit the roof edge hard.
Sarasota’s wet season is built around fast tropical downpours, not a slow all-day drizzle. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms, and the heavier bands that come with tropical weather, can dump a roof’s worth of water onto a few valleys in minutes. Barrel tile and steep planes shed that water in sheets. A gutter that was sized like a light inland sprinkle, or a builder trough with too few outlets, often overtops at the inside corner while the rest of the run looks fine. PrimeFlow starts with the planes and valleys that actually feed each eave, then decides whether a 6-inch or 7-inch seamless run, and how many downspouts, fit that concentration. The largest profile is not the default.
