PrimeFlow Gutters Editorial Team

This homeowner resource is reviewed against approved PrimeFlow service information and links to the relevant official service or market path. It supports a property conversation and does not replace an on-site assessment.

01 / FIELD NOTE

1. Start with roofline scope, not price alone.

Linear footage matters, but it is not the complete project. The proposal should identify the roof edges, contributing planes, valleys, story height, access, fascia observations, existing gutter removal, and where runoff lands. A free assessment lets the homeowner and installer review the same visible roof-water route before the scope and final price are confirmed.

02 / FIELD NOTE

2. Compare materials, profile, and fabrication details.

Confirm whether the proposal specifies on-site seamless fabrication, gutter profile, material, gauge, color, and necessary transitions. PrimeFlow positions .032-gauge aluminum as its standard premium material and 6-inch gutters as a premium baseline for many homes, with 7-inch capacity considered where the roof-water demand supports it.

03 / FIELD NOTE

3. Review attachment and roof-edge responsibilities.

The written scope should address visible fascia condition, roof-edge geometry, alignment, access, hanger approach, and any separately approved soffit or fascia work. PrimeFlow’s preferred hidden-hanger spacing is approximately 16 inches. Wedges or other alignment corrections are considered only when the accessible mounting plane and selected system justify them.

04 / FIELD NOTE

4. Confirm outlets, downspouts, and discharge direction.

Ask how many outlets and downspouts are included, which sizes are proposed, where they run, and where collected roof water is intended to go. An approximate 30-foot checkpoint can prompt review, but roof area, valleys, profile, wall route, doors, walks, landscaping, boundaries, and the lower discharge area determine the final layout.

05 / FIELD NOTE

5. Make the final walkthrough part of the agreement.

At completion, compare the visible rooflines, profile, color, outlets, downspouts, discharge direction, attachment appearance, cleanup, and approved changes with the written scope. Retain the 50% deposit/50% substantial-completion payment terms where they apply, plus the 7-year workmanship and 25-year manufacturer material warranty terms in the actual agreement.
